The two people killed in a fire in Dublin on Monday have been identified.
According to a news release, John Morgan III, 41, and his wife Jessica Morgan, 31, were killed as a result of the mobile home fire on Poplar Lane in Pulaski County.
The last known address for the Morgans was listed in Montgomery County.
Two other adults and two children who were inside the home during the fire survived.
Police identified the survivors on Tuesday as Danielle Carter and Donald Mitchell.
11:03 a.m. Tuesday: Names of the homeowners who survived a fire that resulted in the death of two other occupants in a Pulaski County mobile home on Monday morning have been released.
According to a news release, the residents of the mobile home on Poplar Lane in Dublin have been identified as Danielle Carter and Donald Mitchell.
The couple was reportedly able to save the two small children who were also inside when Ms. Carter discovered that the home was on fire.
Two other adults occupying the home did not survive the fire.
The identities of the two adults who were killed have not yet been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
2:51 p.m. Monday: Two adults who were inside a Pulaski County mobile home when it was engulfed in flames early Monday morning have died.
Six people were inside the home when the fire began, including two kids.
The homewoners and two children escaped the fire, but the two other adults were still inside the burning home when officers arrived.
One of the children who escaped was taken to the hospital for treatment, but has since been released.
The bodies of the two adults who were unable to escape were found when the fire had been extinguished.
The home was on Poplar Lane in Dublin.
According to a news release, the call was made around 3:31 a.m. Monday, not 4:30 a.m. as it was originally reported.
Dublin Fire Department, Fairlawn Fire Department, and Newbern Fire Department responded to the fire.
The names of the victims have not been released. The investigation is being continued by the Dublin Fire Department adn the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office.
10:54 a.m. Monday: Two adults were killed early Monday morning in a Pulaski County mobile home fire.
Six people – including two kids – were inside of the home when the fire started.
Two adults and two children escaped. The two other adults inside the home died. One of the children who escaped was taken to the hospital but has since been released.
The fire was called in around 4:30 a.m. for the home on Poplar Lane in the Dublin area. Firefighters were on scene until around 10:45 a.m.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department is handling the investigation with help from the Dublin Fire Department.
