Lynchburg was busy with visitors Monday morning.
Stein is known for a wide range of roles including actor and economist.
You may recognize Stein from the Clear Eyes commercial as well as the popular 1986 movie, "Ferris Bueller's Day Off".
The Vines Center at Liberty University was packed with fans to hear him speak.
Stein touched on several topics including the country's debt, porn on the internet, abortion, science and the collapse on education.
He also had his book for sale but he tells WDBJ 7 that's not why he came to visit. "There's been a terrible morale collapse in this country and everyone's going to have to work very hard and work with his or her neighbors to fix it. Work, discipline and belief in treating people fair and square and belief in loving your fellow human beings is the key," explained Stein.
After his speech, he gave students the opportunity to ask questions.
He even gave the audience the famous line, "Bueller, Bueller, Bueller".
