Outage disrupts light rail service
An early-morning power outage to overhead light rail lines disrupted service all day yesterday from the Falls Road station to other stations heading north, Maryland Transit Administration officials said.
The outage began about 6 a.m. and ended at 9:30 p.m., said MTA spokeswoman Jawauna M. Greene. About 20 buses took passengers to the stations north of Falls Road, Greene said.
