Scattered accidents have occurred around the Baltimore area this morning, but no serious injuries or delays are being reported, according to Maryland State Police.
Five cars were involved in a collision about 7 a.m. on the outer loop of Interstate 695 near I-70, but police at the Golden Ring barracks said no one was injured and no lanes were blocked as of 8 this morning.
An accident that blocked both lanes of Washington Boulevard at Kit Kat Road in Howard County was cleared about an hour ago, according to Howard County police.
That accident involved a tractor-trailer from which fuel leaked, police said. Motorists were diverted onto Interstate 95. Police said no injuries were reported.
