The northbound lanes of Interstate 95 were closed this morning just north of where the highway meets Route 175 after a sport utility vehicle flipped over, a spokesman for the Maryland State Police's Waterloo barracks said. The lanes were reopened after 45 minutes.
The spokesman said one person was injured.
Rush-hour traffic was considerably backed up as a result of the accident, he said.
The single-vehicle accident occurred just north of Route 175, which takes traffic to Fort George G. Meade to the east and, westward, toward Jessup and Columbia.
