Brazilian radio star Emilinha Borba, Oct. 3 Emilinha Borba, the queen of Brazil's golden age of radio who got her start with the help of Carmen Miranda, died of a heart attack on Monday, Oct. 3, 2005. She was 82. This signed photo was taken in Rio de Janiero in the 1940s and reads "To Diler: My sincere hug for this wonderful work." Movie producer Diler Trinidade took the photo.
