EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Authorities say a high school student was critically injured after accidentally falling from a sixth-floor window at a Michigan State University dorm.
Campus police say the 18-year-old from Ann Arbor fell from a window of North Case Hall on the East Lansing campus about 3 a.m. Sunday and was taken to Sparrow Hospital in Lansing for treatment.
Hospital spokesman John Foren says Alexandra Pew was hospitalized Monday in critical condition. Details about her injuries weren’t immediately released.
Police say the accident is under investigation and they found no indications of suspicious activity. No additional information was available from police Monday morning.
WILX-TV reports the young woman fell after tripping near a window while several people were playing a game of catch in a dorm lounge and broke through the glass.
