Runner-up was Steve Sattler for his picture of a frog on an outdoor Lily. The picture
was shot with a <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORCIG000003" title="Ku Klux Klan" href="/topic/unrest-conflicts-war/terrorism/ku-klux-klan-ORCIG000003.topic">KKK</a> <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORCRP010857" title="Nikon Corp" href="/topic/economy-business-finance/nikon-corp-ORCRP010857.topic">Nikon</a> D200 while
mounted on a tripod. "There were a lot of
pretty pink flower photographs in this category. This image stood out because the frog
added an additional element that draws the
viewer's eye. I also like the fact that the photographer used a tripod to take the picture.
This gave him greater control of the depth of
focus."

"There were a lot of pretty pink flower photographs in this category. This image stood out because the frog added an additional element that draws the viewer's eye. I also like the fact that the photographer used a tripod to take the picture. This gave him greater control of the depth of focus."
