( Credit: Jean Wimmer / January 6, 2013 ) The winner for this week's Reader Sunshots series "Winter Chill" goes to Jean Wimmer for her picture titled "Frosty Winter Homestead." The photographer took the photo about a year ago in Hydes, Maryland with a Canon Rebel T1i. Here is a critique by Baltimore Sun photo editor Jerry Jackson: " This photo fit the category perfectly. I was immediately drawn to the starkness of the almost monochromatic scene. The photographer's crop helps emphasize the vastness of the cold landscape." |
