Farm life honorable mention

Gwen Neff is second place winner for her image of the goat shot with a Nikon D5200, lens at 116mm, f5.6 and ISO 100. Baltimore Sun photographer Algerina Perna says, "This image won for humor and clean composition. Putting the goat in the upper right corner makes a more interesting photo than if the goat was dead center. Also, the space to the left adds "breathing room." Cropping just above the horn eliminates most of the second goat in the background and adds to the tension of the goat stuck in the fence.
