British colors in Cuba

( Reuters photo / November 8, 2012 ) A woman, with her face painted in the colours of the British flag, attends the inauguration of the British pavilion at the International Fair of Havana in Havana. Cuba has authorized a joint venture between a British company and the state-run sugar monopoly to produce renewable energy for the power grid, the two partners said on Thursday. Britain's Havana Energy Ltd and Cuba's state-run Zerus S.A. will make the official announcement this afternoon at an annual trade fair in Havana. |
