Weyman, thanks for all the late night edits and help with my captions, all the advice you gave me, that helped me become a deserving member among the great Sun photographers. I always called you the "last cowboy of the newsroom". We both had similar roots and upbringing and you knew, and you made me feel at home way before I would ever feel this place to be my home. Your legacy will continue to go on and enlighten people, as well will all the love our family has for you. Rest in peace. I love you with all my heart, Swag.

It' seems that an era of great old school photographers has lost another Master. First it was Mr Swagger who's great work is shown here and then recently William H. Mortimer. As time goes by we are losing those who photographed history in a unique and professional way. Both of these photographers paved the way for the modern era photojournalists as the old school taught the new wave. May the cameras of today travel the paths they cleared.
