Green Berets anniversary

Kennedy" href="/topic/politics/government/presidents-of-the-united-states/john-f.-kennedy-PEPLT003488.topic">President John F. Kennedy</a>'s gravesite at Arlington Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia. In 1961 President Kennedy authorized U.S. Army Special Forces to wear the Green Beret. Today's ceremony was held to honor Kennedy's vision to build a dedicated counterinsurgency force 50 years ago.
