In honor of the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation, the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of African American History & Culture is opening an exhibition of the Kinsey Collection, one of the largest privately owned collections of African-American artifacts dating from the 1600s to the present. Shirley Kinsey, left, and son Khalil, are pictured with a sculpture from their collection as they gave a preview tour to several groups of Baltimore city school students.
