Memorial Day

At Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Dena Stenberg (CQ), a disabled Army veteran from Pikesville, salutes a marker after straightening its flag. About 30,000 small U.S. flags are added to each grave marker for the Memorial Day holiday weekend. About her visit, Stenberg said, "I do it to help remember my former mates."
