Md. gambling trumps green energy

Let me see if I understand this. The Maryland General Assembly might be called into special session to pass a bill allowing casino gambling at the National Harbor development in Prince George's County ("Special session on gambling predicted," July 26). However, passing a bill in the General Assembly to establish an electricity-generating wind farm 15 miles out in the Atlantic Ocean off Ocean City that would make Maryland an energy leader for the next 100 years is not even on the legislative radar screen.
