Over the last couple of weeks, I have heard and read a lot in the TV and print media about our "intellectually lazy, Thanksgiving dinner" president's tweets concerning the supposed "wire tapping" of Trump Tower by former President Barack Obama. But today I have read for the first time the complete series of tweets made by President Donald Trump that started this ruckus ("Alternative fact of the week: Trump lies about his lies," March 16).
How can anybody read this stuff and not come away astounded like I am right now? I would suggest to the former president that he allow himself to be interviewed on Fox News by Sean Hannity and call this what it is: the rambling thinking of the person who now sits in the White House and represents us Americans to the rest of the world. Yes, voters were angry and got something "extraordinary," but at what price to themselves and America?
