A couple of years ago my wife and I and another couple took a trip to Baltimore to watch the Red Sox play the Orioles. I was born and raised in Boston and, although I moved to Oklahoma years ago, I never lost my love of all the Boston sports franchises. As soon as we checked into the hotel in the Inner Harbor, I fell in love with your city. I wrote to your newspaper of my experience, and you were gracious enough to print it for your readers to see.
I watched your Ravens outplay my beloved Patriots this past weekend, and although I was sad to see my team lose, I thought of the wonderful people I had the pleasure of meeting there in Baltimore and how classy the local fans were at the beautiful ballpark the Orioles call home, and I was instantly happy for all of you. You have the best young coach in the NFL as well as a quarterback who has proven he is one of the elite in the league. Your fans are second to none and I wish you all the best of luck in the Super Bowl.
I will always be a Pats fan, but I can still see when my team is outplayed and out coached. You'll have at least four more fans rooting for your Ravens here in Oklahoma.
Thank you again for the fantastic experience. We will be back someday. Hopefully you'll have another Lombardi trophy!
