Congratulations to Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blakeand all the Baltimore City departments that made Sailabration such a big success ("Sailabration brings out the mobs," June 18). The police presence was visible and the streets were very clean from Camden Yards to Federal Hill and the Harbor.

The traffic officers were efficient and polite, making the event a very enjoyable experience.

However, if there was one major flaw, it was the Light Rail. Very appropriately named, it was light on extra cars, light on extra runs and definitely light on management ability.

Why is it that so many city departments were so successful in fulfilling their duties but Light Rail failed so miserably? If ever a government agency needs to be audited for performance, this is it.
