Who cares about whose face is on the $20 bill?

Rep. Elijah Cummings and the rest of his cronies that are so concerned about the Harriet Tubman $20 bill need to get their priorities straight (“Cummings crafts measure to require Harriet Tubman’s image on the $20 bill,” Sept. 8). This country and, specifically, Congress has more pressing problems like tax reform, the repeal of the Affordable Care Act, rebuilding Houston after Harvey and possibly South Florida after Irma, to name a few.

Most people could not care less whose picture is on any bill, all they care about is how much it is worth and what they can buy with it. I would venture to say that it will cost the government millions to introduce a new bill — an absolutely needless expense. However, I’d like to see Groucho Marx’s mug on the $20 — at least it would brighten peoples’ day every time they pulled it out.
