More inclined to trust police than city leaders

Most Baltimore residents trust police officer,s but they do not trust the leadership in the city (“As violence mounts, trust in Baltimore police wavers,” Dec. 9).

In recent history, Baltimore has had a mayor who stole gift cards away from children at Christmas, a mayor who let rioters burn down their city with very few prosecutions and then a mayor that puts statues into storage but uses city residents’ tax dollars to protect illegal immigrants.
