When I read Andrew Goldfinger’s commentary (“Men are wild animals — I should know, I am one,” Jan. 10), I started to get this nauseating feeling in the pit of my stomach. The level of ignorance and sexism displayed were appalling.
Sexual harassment and rape have less to do with sex than with power, control and the need to make someone else feel humiliated. And, if we remember the charges against Kevin Spacey, then we know that men aren’t safe either. So, no, I won’t be joining any religion that requires me to cover up my body for your convenience, and yes, it is the responsibility of men to control themselves.
Mr. Goldfinger, your time is up!
