See a tyrant, say it's a tyrant

Great umbrage was taken concerning KAL's cartoon regarding the arming of teachers and President Donald Trump’s desire for a military parade published in the Feb 25th edition of The Sun. The letter writer ("KAL's outrageous, disrespectful parade,” Feb. 27) has obviously not been paying attention to substantiated and continuing comparisons between President Trump's behavior and actions and those which occurred in Germany in the 1930s.

He needs to go reread his history; the parallels are unbelievably striking. Our country's Declaration of Independence states that "A prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.” Those who recognize the danger this country is currently in — including political cartoonists — are taking every opportunity to keep these tyrannical forces under control.
