No doubt Ravens Coach John Harbaugh will tell reporters that he was proud of the comeback performance of the Ravens last Sunday, but he needs to realize that his job here in Baltimore is to win and not just to look good ("Harbaugh's latest gamble backfires, Ravens speed it up and more from Sunday's loss," Oct. 21).
Decisions have brought about our present team makeup. Mr. Harbaugh has said the organization had to make business decisions in the off-season and let certain players go to another team. Well, coach, so far these decisions do not look good with a won-loss record of 3-4 going into the bye week.
I know Mr. Harbaugh is friends with Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti, but so was Brian Billick — until he was fired as Ravens head coach for not performing well. Mr. Harbaugh is paid well and fans expect more winning performances from the players and fewer excuses at Monday morning news conferences.
