It's good to see your newspaper is finally devoting part of the sports section full time to covering auto racing. But while there was coverage of the Indy 500 and stock cars, where was the coverage of the Monaco Grand Prix?
If I just read your paper, I would never know that Mark Weber won the big race, becoming the sixth winner in the first six Formula One races this year. I mean, it's nice to know what the minor leaguers are doing, but no mention of the big leagues at all? Come on! To give you an idea of the relative importance of the races, I watched the Monaco Grand Prix start to finish, and even the pre-race show. The Indy 500 I recorded on my Tivo, watched the start, and then the last 50 laps. The stock car race I watched the last five laps.
So, thanks again for the effort, but try a little harder next time. You wouldn't cover high school lacrosse and then ignore the NCAA championship, would you?
