Ravens safety Bernard Pollard took a cheap shot at yet another Patriots player on Sunday, jeopardizing his health and maybe his career, and Ravens coach John Harbaugh lauds his actions ("Safety Bernard Pollard was a Patriot-seeking missile," Jan. 21).

The Ravens have been the feel-good story in the playoffs up to this point. With the fourth — at least — take-out play by Mr. Pollard, his game has no place in the NFL, let alone having his coach hold it up as exemplary.

I have no dog in this fight — I like the Ravens. But, this is where the feel-good ends and the karma turns.
