'Obamacare' will lower health-insurance costs

I have learned to be a patient. Running to my independent medical practice, I was stuck by a car on March 28. I suffered many fractures and underwent six operations.

Every patient needs careful protection from insurance costs. Obamacare is really insurance made up by many politicians, not just by President Barack Obama. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act will have administrative costs of just 5 percent, like Medicare, not the 25 percent of commercial insurance. I am looking forward to it both as a patient and as a doctor who protects his patients.

Why don't Dems question Md.'s flawed health exchange rollout?

Who are Gov. Martin O'Malley and Attorney General Doug Gansler trying to kid? The reason potential litigation over the flawed rollout of Maryland's health exchange is being postponed is the upcoming election. They are deeply afraid of what Noridian is going to claim about Lt. It saddens me to see the former congressman and governor of Maryland salivating with anticipation at the thought of depriving millions of Americans of decent health insurance by rolling back the Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare is a varsity stinker," Nov. 23).
