Wouldn't it be wonderful to hear someone say how lucky we are to have such a fine man as Barack Obama as our president, and that he gave an inspiring talk to us in the State of the Union ("Obama focuses on the economy," Jan. 29)?
Instead, the pundits delight in analyzing and criticizing his speech, forgetting to remind us that he is an idealistic, intelligent and good man — a credit to the America he represents. Forget whether you are a Democrat or a Republican, rejoice in the quality of our leadership and what he demonstrates about America to the entire world.
