Obama has failed the nation

President Barack Obama should be ridiculed for his failure to do what he was hired to do — create jobs and lead the country out of its present mess which has gotten worse under his watch ("A minimum step forward," July 30).

Instead, he chooses to blame it on President George W. Bush, take lavish vacations and travel overseas at the drop of a hat, play golf and make speeches. William Shakespeare had it correct in Macbeth when he described a tale "full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."

Of course your leftist editorial board will not agree.
