Apology will not fix Obamacare [Letter]

President Barack Obama recently apologized to the American people who are losing their health insurance despite his repeated and emphatic promises that this would not happen — that if you like your insurance plan and your doctor you will be able to keep them.

Mr. Obama made that apology on the same day Senate Republicans demanded that he fire his top health care officials in response to Obamacare's failed website.

The president's comments represent something of an about face for the administration which until now had argued that Americans were aware that Obamacare would result in millions losing their policies because they do not comply with the new law's standards. This just proves that Obamacare continues to be a train wreck and the best solution is to repeal the law now and start from scratch.

This mess was created by the Democrats in Congress and maybe next time they should seek more input and cooperation from GOP conservatives.
