Ehrlich's missing news item [Letter]

GovernmentExecutive BranchRobert L. Ehrlich Jr.

Space considerations may have been responsible for the deletion of the final item in former Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich Jr.'s "news of the future column" in The Sun ("The news of the future," July 27). Here it is now in its entirety:

"Doctors were pleased to announce the successful removal of a benign lesion from the brain of former Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich Jr. The lesion which had apparently been present for years had gone unnoticed since its only effect was on the part of the brain responsible for rational thinking. A confidant was quoted as saying, 'We just thought that was the way he was. We simply thought he couldn't help it.'

"Mr. Ehrlich is recuperating at home and will soon be back in the political arena as a presidential campaign adviser to candidate Hillary Clinton."
