Interfaith neighbors should be celebrated

As a Christian who lived in Pakistan for three years and the Baltimore area for 40 years, I was delighted to see the good news about the planned mosque on the front page of the Baltimore Sun ("Good neighbors in heart of Pikesville," May 31). I salute the Pikesville residents who are making this possible. I am a member of a book club called Daughters of Abraham. We read books from the three religions/cultures and more importantly get to know and care about each other as human beings. There are several similar interfaith groups in the Baltimore-Washington area. Thank you for shining light on what is right with Baltimore.
