Give me a reason not to leave Maryland [Letter]

Maryland needs to give middle-income people a reason to stay in the state. I am 65 and have resided in Baltimore my entire life.

My memories are full of escalating taxes and insurance premiums, bureaucratic red tape, corruption and ineptness. I'm looking for an out.

If our supposed political representatives can get automatic pay increases, why can't we?

Thomas Fraling, Baltimore
