Your recent editorial on campaign fiance doesn't go far enough to explain to readers the influence this money has on Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz ("Kamenetz the kingmaker," May 22).
One of the Caves Valley Partners principals is Arthur Adler, who happens to be related to Howard Brown, a principal in David S. Brown, the current developer of the Metro center expansion.
Our community has been waiting years for Mr. Brown to finish this project yet he seems to have delayed the project by stopping to complete other projects such as the stadium at Stevenson College.
Mr. Adler and Mr. Brown were both principals in David S. Brown, and Mr. Adler recently formed Caves Valley Partners.
Yet Mr. Kamenetz fails to demand that Mr. Brown finish the Metro project in a timely manner.
The question to voters is, does Mr. Kamenetz accept these funds to influence his development decisions to the advantage of developers and the detriment of the residents of Baltimore County? Voters should decide.
