Israel's friends seek U.S.-Iran war

Claims to the contrary not withstanding, the resolution introduced in the Senate for tougher sanctions against Iran is a call to war ("Senators: Get tough on Iran," Feb. 26). The extreme sanctions presently in place being just short of war now, what else could it mean?

No surprise then that the crowd of American Israel Public Affairs Committee minions who sponsored the resolution are unconditional supporters of Israel, a garrison state with a history of attacking and invading other countries.
