In regard to your editorial on people losing health insurance coverage as a result of Obamacare ("The canceled policies, Oct. 31), you are wrong, wrong, wrong. I have sold individual policies in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia 42 years. I have never sold a policy that did not pay full benefits. The typical policy I sell has a large deductible and then pays 100 percent of all costs. The only exception may be maternity which is optional.

You and the Democratic talking points (heard the same language last night from every Democratic pundit) assume that the people who purchase individual policies and the agents that sell them are stupid and do not know what they have.

The people who do not know what these individual policies cover are party line people like the editors of The Sun and the Democratic strategists.

The new plans being touted — mostly the Bronze plan, as it is the least expensive — have huge deductibles and then only pay 60 percent of charges. What is so great about that? I have never sold a plan that "thin" and will not in the future.
