Lawless on immigration [Letter]

Illegal ImmigrantsLaws and LegislationImmigration

Maryland's new motto should be: "Welcome to the lawless state." Whatever happened to elected officials upholding the laws? ("Thousands of immigrants seek drivers licenses," Dec. 31.)

We have prisoners running the jail, a mayor welcoming illegal immigrants to Baltimore and a governor using our tax dollars to support illegal immigration.

Wouldn't it be better to support the immigrants who come here legally and want to be citizens?
