Illegal immigrants are criminals [Letter]

Our governor seems a bit confused. He wrote a letter to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security asking why they are doing their job and deporting illegal immigrants who do not have a serious criminal history ("Groups target inconsistencies in immigration enforcement," Feb. 16).

The answer is that anyone who sneaks into this country illegally is a serious criminal and should be deported.
