City ignores juvenile offenders

How thoughtful of Mayor Catherine Pugh and Police Commissioner Kevin Davis to pay a personal visit to the recent crime victims in Homeland ("Young suspects arrested in armed carjacking, robbery in Homeland," May 18). But one has to wonder what prompted such sudden caring when on a daily basis the rest of us in our fair city are terrorized by juvenile offenders who face little consequence for breaking into our homes, beating and robbing us on our streets and stealing our cars at gunpoint.
