Gun research a waste of time, money

Johns Hopkins University receives billions of tax dollars and for the past 23 years they have used these tax dollars to support a Center for Gun Policy and Research ("Gun research is not biased," May 20). What a waste of our tax dollars.

Most Americans know that people kill people and that criminals do not purchase legal guns. We have had gun laws on the books for many more years than this center at Johns Hopkins and most Americans understand when people work for a certain group, there will always be bias because they want to protect their job.
