The citizens are crying out about the race to be Maryland's next governor in recent letters to the editor ("Of course the governor's race is depressing in one-party Maryland," April 26), but the media refuse to listen. The Baltimore Sun is one example of media not heeding the call. Polls indicate a large number of voters do not like any of the Democratic candidates for governor that the Sun's beat writers have been covering.

By refusing to provide Marylanders with all of the information about all of the candidates running for governor, The Sun is continuing its stubborn, know-it-all attitude at the expense of its readers. Come on, Baltimore Sun, when are you going to be fair?

Ralph Jaffe, Baltimore

The writer is a Democratic candidate for governor.
