Dan Rodricks ("Time for someone to take the blame," April 3) is absolutely right: Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown, the governor's point man for the Maryland Health Connection, is the state official chiefly responsible for the health exchange's embarrassing and expensive failure.
Mr. Brown failed to execute properly the most important mission assigned to him. Were he an Army officer on active duty, he would surely have been relieved of his command and possibly demoted. Yet in his speeches and ads, he has the temerity to tout his leadership ability. His inept management of this matter has cost taxpayers tens of millions of dollars and frustrated thousands of citizens trying to enroll for health insurance.
