Congress and the meaning of 'indivisible'

Congress begins every work day with the Pledge of Allegiance, which includes the word "indivisible." That word has many applications that are being ignored. The consequences are potentially catastrophic.

Further, those who support restoring only a few government programs in this broad government shutdown should remember the proverb "For want of a nail..."
