The Sun's editorial offers left-handed, fingers-crossed and a fast-wink support for finding the truth about the Benghazi tragedy ("Benghazi deserves real review," May 10) when mostly it contained accusations that Republicans only want to attack President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Well, if this tragedy with the same events occurred during a Republican administration, The Sun along with every major liberal news outlet would be demanding a special commission with subpoena powers be appointed now but with no accusations that Democrats were playing politics.
The Sun's editorial states, "House Republicans need to understand that most Americans see the Benghazi attack and get angry chiefly at its perpetrators, not at Mrs. Clinton." Yes, Americans are angry at the perpetrators, but I submit they (especially the relatives of the four heroes that were murdered) are also angry that after eight months none have been brought to justice as promised by President Obama last September. Anger at Mrs. Clinton is on hold depending on the final outcome of the Benghazi investigation by the House.
