Use the $3.7b to secure the border [Letter]

The Democrats spend a lot of time and money making America attractive to illegal immigrants. Then when they show up by the tens of thousands they act surprised.

This country would be much better served if our politicians took the $3.7 billion dollars in emergency funds the Obama administration has requested and used it to seal our borders ("America's refugee crisis," July 9).That won't happen as long as the Democrats control the government because everyone allowed to enter this country illegally is a potential Democratic vote. One has to wonder how many terrorists, gang members and others who want to harm this country are also walking across the border.
