BGE took out a full-page ad on the back page of The Sun to discuss its response to the recent massive power outage. Of 24 inches of print, 22.5 inches attempted to explain or defend its actions and the remainder was a vague and meaningless "discussion" of measures it is taking to avoid such an occurrences in the future.
It appears that the management of BGE is about 16 times more interested in defending themselves than in providing a substantial discussion of what, if anything, they plan to do to prevent the community that depends on them from becoming a Third World country during the next unexpected storm.
I would prefer to see them spend the money we pay them each month on infrastructure improvement instead of on advertising.
