First, kudos to all those great utility crews from Maryland and other states and provinces. Your hard work and dedication under difficult circumstances are much appreciated by BGE customers.
As for Kenneth DeFontes, Stephen Woerner, Christopher Burton, Davis Vosvick, Carol Dodson, Jeannette Mills, Mayo Shattuck and all the other BGE executives and board members, they deserve a resounding F for their inability to plan for and support emergency response efforts. Their sole focus on the bottom line has blinded them to the needs of the clients and employees who depend on their leadership. They should be ashamed to take their unearned bonuses and inflated salaries. They are useless to society.
If Dante were living today, he would have invented a tenth circle especially for them and their like. The punishment would include eternally carrying five gallon buckets of water up and down steps to fill toilet tanks that only partially work. Thanks for my six days of Hell. Deregulation of public utilities has been an abysmal failure!
