If what transpired in Congress on Wednesday was not a "real review" of the Benghazi debacle, then tell me what is ("Benghazi deserves real review," May 10)?
Are you saying that the Obama administration's prefabricated talking points should be ignored? Any reasonable person would suggest that these talking points appear to be a cover-up of their mistakes. The administration knew this was a terrorist attack as soon as it happened and not "later" as the editorial suggests.
Yet on the following Sunday, Ambassador Susan Rice is telling everyone on five Sunday talk shows that the attack was the result of a video. But as is true for The Sun, you never allow the facts to get in the way of a good story. While it may be true that most Americans are angry with the perpetrators, they are just as angry at President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton because, by their refusal to provide the assistance that was pleaded for by the ambassador, they allowed this incident to happen.
In closing, I just want to add that if this incident had occurred under George W. Bush's presidency, you would be calling for his impeachment.
