The Benghazi hearings may be a political play by the GOP but no more so than the blockage of information by the Obama administration in September and October right before the election ("Benghazi deserves real review," May 10).
I have yet to see any meaningful discussion in The Sun about why Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens was in Benghazi without appropriate security in the first place and why no was action taken to try to help (as it used to be an American tradition to help its citizens when in trouble) — even if it was too late. Also, what took the administration so long to tell the American people (if they have) what really happened?
