Perhaps men should apologize more [Letter]

I initially felt "way to go" when I read Susan Reimer's column about women apologizing ("What are women apologizing for?" June 23). However, with deeper contemplation I began to wonder if women apologize more because they are more polite. That they care about other's feelings. That our male friends are perhaps a little too brusque and quick to move on without regard to what feelings they have left behind.
